School Review & Needs Assessment
A school review is an opportunity to step back, look closely at what is happening across your school, and develop a shared understanding of strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Working collaboratively with school leaders and educators, we gather information from multiple perspectives to better understand the current learning experience and identify areas that may benefit from focused support.
The process may include:
Leadership interviews
to explore priorities, systems, challenges, and goals
Classroom observations
to understand teaching practices, student engagement, and learning environments
Teacher focus groups
to gather perspectives and identify common strengths and needs
Student learning walks
to look for patterns in student learning and classroom experiences
Document review
of curriculum, assessments, data, professional learning plans, and other materials
Collaborative reflection
to bring the information together and identify priorities
The Goal
The goal is not simply to identify what is working or what needs improvement. It is to develop a clear picture of where your school is now and where it wants to go, and to identify practical next steps that align with your goals, resources, and context.
Flexible by Design
A review can be focused on a specific area—such as curriculum implementation, assessment, instructional coaching, or professional learning—or can provide a broader look across teaching and learning.
What you will receive:
A summary of key findings, strengths, opportunities for growth, and recommended next steps that can help guide future professional learning, coaching, or school improvement efforts.
